“I think that was one of my best experiences with cheap hotels in the city center. I will tell you in detail about all aspects of the hotel. I put 5 starts and planning to come back. + -Service -Location -Price -Fridge - -Stairs -Small rooms -View 1. I can point out its location as the biggest plus. It is located right in the city center, near the Anne Frank House, a few minutes from museums, red light street and other attractions. Right next to it there is a supermarket, a cosmetics store, various cafes and souvenir shops, and of course a coffee shop with marijuana, for those who fly to visit them. I was pleasantly surprised that the hotel is located at the interchange of trains and buses, so you can get almost anywhere quickly and comfortably 2. Please note that the hotel is accessible by stairs, so it is not suitable for people with disabilities 3. The second big plus is the service. Everyone at the reception, including the owner, is insanely communicative and responsible. We had a situation with a girl who started screaming at night, and the staff reacted instantly, resolving the situation favorably for all hotel customers You can also buy drinks from them, take for free a kettle or a hairdryer. They work 24/7, so you can freely come and go whenever you want. 3. Of course, I will also attribute the price to the pluses. For three nights, I got 270 euros + a tourist tax of about 10 euros. Compared to other options for a budget trip, I think this hotel is worth every cent spent. 4. I can't say that the rooms themselves or the shower/toilet were somehow impressed. They were ordinary. The room has a bed, a mirror, a washbasin, a table. Some, like mine, have a closet and an additional chair. I'm talking about a standard room for 1 person. As a minus, I can calculate that the shower is located on the second floor. But as a plus - the cameras are everywhere in the corridors, and in the rooms and bathrooms there are quite strong locks, which increases the safety of customers. The view from the window of the neighboring house is not very picturesque, but the weather in Amsterdam is quite rainy and cold, so I didn't even have to open the curtains.”
“Very kind and friendly staff, always willing to help and have a chat. The stairs are a bit inconvenient for carrying larger luggage, but it wasn’t a problem for us. We got the room we had booked. Best regards from Serbia!”
“Located in the very centre of the Amsterdam canals, just a few blocks from the Anne Frank house and next to lots of cafés and restaurants. There are some supermarkets open 'till midnight so it's convenient. You're also in front of Pizza Beppe, another place I reviewed and it's very handy to have a pizza place nearby, right?”
“Fantastic hotel, everything was fabulous. I stayed in the Presidential Suite No. 9 and felt like true Dutch royalty. A regal room fit for a sovereign! The only drawback is that the bidets are too high in the shared bathrooms...”
